HISTORY

The idea for a golf course in Holderness, NH's idyllic Mount Prospect Road location began in 1948, when the L. J. Carlton family built the first 9 holes on their farm. It was a desire that had been put on hold for 26 years due to the demands of farming this land. The land was sold to a development company in 1974, and work on the course began in 1975.

GO ORGANIC

Organic landscaping has been around for a few years and is becoming increasingly popular for private home grounds and some corporate campuses, but it has yet to gain traction in the golf business. Highland Links Golf Club is excited to be at the forefront of this movement.
